Market keys

The Events API names its few main markets SPORTID_MARKETID. The Bet365 API groups every market bet365 lists in sections, with readable keys.

Events API

Event Odds and Event Odds Summary return only the main markets of each sport, 1 to 3 of them. Keys are SPORTID_MARKETID: 1_1 is market 1 of Soccer.

Other sports follow the same scheme with their own sport id. odds_update in Event Odds Summary lists the keys each event has. Filter Event Odds with the market ids, for example odds_market=1,3.

Odds lines

Each key holds a list of lines, newest first. ss and time_str are the score and minute when the price was captured, and add_time is its UTC epoch.

Bet365 API

Bet365 PreMatch Odds returns every market bet365 lists for an event. Markets are grouped in sections, and each market in a section is keyed by name.

main, asian_lines, goals and half are objects with updated_at and the markets in sp. Selections on handicap and total markets carry the line in handicap and the side in header.

These are the most used soccer keys. A market is only returned while bet365 lists it for that event.

Suspended markets

In Bet365 Inplay Event, markets (MA) and selections (PA) carry SU. bet365 suspends them for a few seconds around goals, penalties, cards and other key moments.

SU=1 on a market means none of its selections can be bet on at that moment.
SU=1 on a selection means only that price is unavailable.
Prices in OD are fractional, as bet365 shows them: 4/9 is decimal 1.44.

Do not act on suspended prices

A suspended price is out of date by definition. Exclude it from models, alerts and comparisons until SU is back to 0.
